Hello everyone I just recently added the "head out" view to MSTS on all locomotives.. but for some reason I get no sound when im looking forward on the head out, but I do get sound when im looking to the rear of the train with my head out the locomotive........ Can anyone give me a solution to this problem?
Funny thing, first time I added the head out view I had the same effect. So I deleted it and copied the backup .eng file without the headout view in, and forgot about it for a while. Then I noticed the sound faded when I rotated the view around in #2 or #3 view, and discovered the wire to my left speaker was broken!
You know i didnt even check that cause i just bought a new dell comp and new speakers and all so i may have to give that a shot cause the wires i have behind the comp desk looks like a fire hazard!!
Also keep in mind that sound is oriented to the camera view. When you are looking forward, most of the sound is behind you, out of view. As you rotate the camera toward the rear, the sound will increase.Cyndi
