NS is at it again

I don't think its NS fault. Apparently a truck was crossing the grade while the train was approaching.

You never know, He might have stalled out and couldn`t get going again. Not that I ever stall out

He's saying NS has road crossing accidents a lot (the fire), but says it's even a bigger deal (the fuel) when they wreck somebody else's loco instead of their own, i.e. the UP SD70Mac.

Ya know stuff like this happens..........and it's not NS' fault that UP's SD70M almost got trashed, bet stuff like that happens with other railroads even if there using their own or other's equipment for their trains.Mike

I was just joking around that it was NS' fault (forgot to add one of these ).Seriously, thats a shame that it was a UP loco and it wasn't even on UP tracks.-Dave

You can keep your UP rivets and I wasn't trying to blame anyone for anything. I was trying to clarify what NewEnglandRailfan said in order to answer heffed's question "Adds fuel to what fire?"

I bet the truck it-self is ok, The trailer is what probably hit the nose. Take a look at the picture he sent. It looks like a tank or something hit it.

I suppose the logging company's insurance will have to cover it.
