In case anyone's interested and never saw it, there is a new webcam at galesburg railroad museum's webite. I forget their exact adress. The webcam is almost streaming and you get to pan around and zoom. Trains usually come about 20 minutes apart and are usually BNSF trains.
There is a TRAINS webcam at the Rochelle Railroad Park in Rochelle, Ill. It overlooks the diamonds where the UP crosses the BNSF. There are about a hundred trains a day. Check it out at http://www.trains.com/

Sounds interesting, but useless without a link. Trains magazine also had a cam at Fort Madison,Iowa; where the BNSF (ex SantaFe) mainline crosses the Mississippi river and crew change point at depot. Ron K of Rockford
I was just at the site, and saw one train, and it was a pretty good stream. Kinda crappy that everyone gets to control it, it is frustrating to see a view that you like and someone moves it on you heheRyan
There seems to be something wrong with it it keeps looking up and not moving when you click on the direction you want it to go in. I hope they fix it soon.
