I hear in this latest order of C44-9W's they're getting, they WILL HAVE A/C!!!!!!!! I hope this is true. Those CN units can get very hot down here in the south. You have to open all of the doors and almost hang out of the window. But I love the seats and hot plates. I had one the other day and I had it smelling pretty good in the cab. Is this true????
It's funny that now that the CNR has moved down south, suddenly we get air conditioning. I guess the American Hot is hotter than the Canadian Hot. Nice to see finally, though. Sure could have used it on the SD40's in the summer. cheers, Ernie
Don't take life too seriously, just remember what not to do next time around.
I wouldnt be supprised! Those CN locos are everywhere, thanks to the IC and WC takeovers.Could they be ES44DC's instead of C44-9W's? >Mike Forster< Perth, Western Australiapacificnational_nr103@hotmail.com http://www.trainweb.org/aussiepix

I can imagine!"The F59PHI and Genesis are the lamest excuses for locomotives Amtrak has ever operated - accept it and move on. Hug an F40 before it's too late!"
