Took a trip to the National railroad Museum in Green bay WI. Grabbed along my new digital Camera and took a ton of pics to share with everyone. BigBoys, GG1, Zephyrs, old frieght cars, shays, and even Santa Fe Texan class 2-10-4 Oil Burner, #5017.
Enjoy!

That was a very nice set of pictures.
It kinda made it worth while to come to work this morning.
I guess it would not have mattered that much, I would have just looked at them at home. But very good.Ryan

RE: Trip to Museum Pics Galore for Everyone!!!!!!

, Hey Mike....
Yes, that was a Big Boy, it sits in a permanent structure, never to roll again outside in the weather and elements. Sorry to say, no working steam engines. the closes your going to get to a working steam is the one pictured with "National RailRoad Musuem" on the tender. If you look real careful at the trucks and under side of the tender, it is actually a 25 ton switcher chopped down and covered up to look like a tender. The Engine is a dummy unit with the controls. This is what they used to pull the train ride around the yard.
