Hey all, Is anyone here going to go to Galesburg this weekend for the annual Railroad Days festival? Granted, it is not like in years past, but the Milwaukee Road 261 (Most beautiful of ALL the Northerns out there....that are left)is scheduled to appear from what I understand. I know it is kind of late date ot be askin'...but if there are some of us goin...we could meet at the depot!? I look forward to this weekend every year. It is my time to act like the railfan-extrordinare I was when I was young and had no life other than the hobby...LOL If you see a big man with a beard, and a long pony tail totin' a video camera, 35mm and digital.....with a 6'2" lady in tow, that would be me. Stop and say HI!!

My friend'll be there. He arrives on the California Zephyr and will probably be wearing something Sox. (BOO!) The 261 *is scheduled* to arrive at Galesburg at 4PM on Friday. I'll be on it. I'll be getting off at Rock Island, though.Joe LeMay
