From the times I see of people posting messages, it seem like there is really no "slow" time of day. Besides working on 40+ year old cars is fun. If I owned a company I wouldn't mind employees looking and posting during work hours but dowloading is a different matter. And to, I have a very limited range of sites I check on that I enjoy, so I guess I'm not as bad as other employees here that maybe trying to look at porn sites or play on-line video games et al.But to play MSTS at work - YIKES! We have our own room to come and go as we please, so long as we shouldn't be anywhere else, so if school is a place of employment, yes, I do.Just haven't figured how to make a PC read a CD that was burned on a mac.!(School has T1, me=modem.) I should have been clearer when first posting this message because I'm going to use this as research to a theses I'm writing: "Ethical internet use." Since I'm a member of this trainsim community, I thought I would see what peoples views are on viewing this site (and others) from work on company time or otherwise.

But think of this: Train simmers live all over the world and while for you it might be in the middle of the night for others it's broad daylight -- or at least the "happy hour" between coming home from work and dinner. In fact, if I checked the forum at 8 am my time you'd still be sound asleep (or wouldn't you?).To answer your question: Nope, I don't read the forum at work. Our bosses have their robots reading the log files. And they won't fuss about it at all, you'd be fired quicker than you could get three Dash-9s with 50 cars to a halt.Regards

I quickly discovered that the peak traffic is on weekdays - starting at about 12 Noon Eastern Time throught 1 PM Pacific Time.Ron
