The E&N Division of the Canadian Railroad Historical Association could be getting a two-truck shay and a Whitcomb 90-tonner from the BC Forestry Discovery Centre who is currently expanding their narrow guage operation outside of Duncan, BC. The Shay is the former Mayo Lumber Company No.3 that was on loan to the Kettle Valley Steam Railway in Summerland, BC just outside of Penticton on the old CP Princeton Sub. The whitcomb is an old mill switcher that worked the Fletcher Challenge pulp mill in Crofton, BC until the mid 1990's when it was replaced with 2 ex-SP SW1500's. The Whitcomb 90-tonner is currently located at the BC Forest Discovery Centre just north of Duncan, BC and the shay is sitting in Summerland, ready to be trucked and barged back to Duncan. They will be stored at the E&N Railway's Victoria shops. The Whitcomb comes with extra traction motors.
