Every time I see one of these posts calling for pictures of users or picture of desktops, I cringe at the thought of all that wasted disk space on Nels' servers. Gentlemen, let us refrain from responding to this call and saving Nels some money on disk space. I think it is great that Nels has the ability to host RAILROAD and MSTS related pictures. Let's not take advantage of his generosity or we might possibly see pictures disappear from this site.Cal Rasmussen

Maybe it comes from cache each time after that .. I don't know.At any rate, this is the latest pic I've found. It sounds more like you are talking about bandwidth, the network traffic generated by viewing the picture. I am referring to the disk space on the server used to store the picture. Now that I think about it, both are an issue. In addition to disk drives, Nels has to pay for bandwidth also.Cal Rasmussen

Here we go, I played with the double vision 3084 Bandwith, whats the deal, I run 3 websites, why would Nels even have a screenshot forum, allow avatars etc. I run sites without advertising. He has this revenue, as well as the premium memberships for the download area. All my stuff is no ads and free, so I eat all the costs.

The U30C is operational but it is usually not used because it chugs smoke like you wouldn't believe so the IRM is reluctant to use it. It is quite a show to see it running though.

No thats top and bottom. And it is a common thing here in the southern part of the US, from Texas to Atlanta. No it doesnt hurt my lips it just fits over my teeth. I had to get used to talking and eating, but I got used to it. No they dont feel like braces, once you get used to em you'll forget they are there.

I've always called them "Ice Teeth", but don't know the real name)I assume you need the dentist to get molds taken of your teeth, but can you take them in and out by yourself? Yep he took a mold of my teeth and created those. I chose to get the kind that you could take out because I wouldnt want to go to a job interview or something with them in. I have a cleaning cloth that the dentist game me so I can clean them with. Actually they are called "decorated partials" My oldest brother has a set like mines but his has diamonds in them. Those cost about twice of what mines did. No problem with all the questions. My lil son asks about 10,000 more than you do so im used to it.

Well, here I am. This picture was taken on an old Pacific Electric right-of-way on Electric Avenue in north San Bernardino, CA. This was originally an electric trolley line that ran to the Arrowhead Hot Springs hotel in the foothills just north of the city. Every once in a while, especially around this area where I was sitting, you still find ties in the ground and tie plates and spikes on the right-of-way. I've hiked further up the line and once I even found part of the trolley wire. The Arrowhead line was abandoned in the early 1960s. The paper I'm holding is a system map of the Pacific Electric Railway. This picture is about a year old. I could find a more recent one, but I really haven't changed that much. But the area has changed some. We had huge brushfires last fall and the foothills behind me in this picture were totally burned and look a lot different now By the way, I've been working with our neighborhood association to have the old right-of-way improved with a greenbelt and historic site. I have a couple more shots to share with you all....1. One of my million engineer friends said, you take tons of pictures for me.... Asked how to use my camera and went outside before our meet came. 2. Last July in CP 9101 sitting in the siding..The crew let me go up before their ride came to grab some pictures.3. Just a minute ago in my bedroom... I closed my curtens, turned on my roof light and my reading light poining towards me. Lets say I like to eat my pork chops I did have a picture of me in one of the new Alaska ARR SD70M's but not sure where it is.... Chris Wilson
