Click on that link and follow the instructions. At the conclusion, a URL for the picture will be displayed. Write that entire URL down and then to insert the picture in your message, simply type the URL at the location where you want the picture. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Jan-14-02, 10:16 PM (EST) 2. "RE: Screenshot posting in the forum - how to do??" Even easier: highlight the picture URL that appears in the box, COPY and then PASTE it into the "message" box. That way you can be sure it's exactly as it appears. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Paste the URL address into your Notepad, or the likes on your hard drive, then you can use it again for a future use if need be.. PS... A GENTLE HINT HERE....
I have mentioned before in screenshot threads.
Please! keep your screenshots resized. As there is nothing worse than to open to see your nice picture(s), only to be confronted with a HUGE picture one needs to scroll all over the screen and wait for ages for it, or them to appear on screen.
A smaller crappy picture that EVERYONE can view FULL size, will far outweigh a Whopping big picture that needs scrolling all over the place to see and ages to appear. As soon as I see that happen, I click the BACK button. So your lovely screenshot, I and I'm sure there are others here as well do not get to see them. Please let's ALL... see your nice screenshots etc.John Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Jan-18-02, 03:00 PM (EST) 5. "RE: Screenshot posting in the forum - how to do??" If you're having problems with screen shots being so big that you need to scroll Jim try this:Use the web browser while it is maximized
Set your windows resolution to 1024x768x32
Get a fast connection. A long thread with 50 posts and pictures in all of them takes about 2 seconds to load unless there are server issues. At least try the first two solutions if the last is out of the question. I, as do most people, prefer to see the screen shots as near to their original size as possible, especially where text may be relevant.-Andy
