The variable is generally set with a value of 4 to 6. Set the value to low and you will never see a clear block if there is opposing traffic.

Right, thank you. This is the message that I ended up fully asking my questions in: http://www.train-sim.com/dcforum/DCForumID6/11721.htmlThis is a link to another image that helps illustrate why my question - it's a 34"-x-34" JPEG, sorry (small version of it simulated by bottom image here): http://www.geocities.com/BourbonStreet/Bayou/4804/new.html.

I would try setting all SNCA values to 4. IMHO the SNCA set at 1 and 2 are too low and the values set above 6 are set too high. I would also try emailing Hank the signalmaster and see what he thinks?Take care,
Rich S.

Thank you, but SNCA values set too low turned the whole flow of traffic into nothing but molasses, fudge -- very few trains (mainline ones) make full progress through the junction when those settings set too low.The values at 17, 14, etc., are the lowest ones that could be set into their respective signals.Cheers,
goonybird
