Hi Jeffrey,A very interesting read there. I like it and the site. Very well done and you have a penchant for writing very interesting reports. I enjoyed reading through them. Just was wondering where you go to school and if writing is something you are interested in, besides trains of course. I think you have a talent for it. I majored in English in College and have written a few things, but usually it is my poetry that has been published rather than anything else. Anyway, very nice read. I hope, being from Maryland that you also are a fan of the WM which is one of my favorite railroads. You take care and thanks for sharing that with us. I thoroughly enjoyed it.TimWestern Maryland "Gone but never forgotten"

Well that was dumb. I should have looked at your signature and I would know that you are a fan of the WM. Duh! Stupid me. TimWestern Maryland "Gone but never forgotten"

Well thank you, and yes, the WM is my favorite road.I take it since you previously had a fireball logo signature, that you prefer the pre Chessie WM?I am interested in operations from about 1970, to it's demise (if you ask me, it was when the 7400 SD40s became Chessie 7500s....)Anyways, glad you liked the site. Yes, xanga is a blog hoster, but if gets the job done, thats all that counts...-Jeffrey

Yes, I am with you on that one. I prefer the 50's and 60's era of WM, and railroading in general. Definititely pre Chessie. So that is what a blog is. I was wondering that same thing as well, Cal. I have heard of them but had never been to one of the sites used for them. I tend to keep everything to myself however. But I guess the younger crowd likes the idea. Anyway, good read and good that you are a WM fan! Tim Western Maryland "Gone but never forgotten"
