I remember seeing on the French News Channel 2 (I absent-mindedly had it on) a while back the had something about the threats. They said that the railway officials were going over EVERY mile of track, looking for expolsives.
AHAHAHAHAHAHHHHHAHHHAHHAH!!!!! Sorry, this is a nervous breakdown about the "Masters of the war on Terror" lesson givers! Look after what is happening around the world... I have best thinks to do than answer to a flam post. JLC
France is a nation that is very insistent when it comes to separating state and religion. And the french Government is in the process of outlawing ANY kind of religious symbols in schools. OF course, this has left the islamic extremists fuming.Apart from that, AZF, which is the group behind the attempted bombings, terms itself a "left-wing, secular organisation".Pretty scary. And I am planning to take the Thalys to Paris later this year.regardsThomas

Actually, this really highlights how incredibly stupid these terrorists are. Making terrorism a real and active national security issue in more and more countries (ie Spain, now France) means more and more soldiers being sent out from the said countries to find the little rats. As we have seen throughout history, those who open up a war on multiple fronts usually lose.Hey did you ever read that Darwin award where two Palestiniain Car bombers blew themselves up? Seems that the bomb was set to daylight savings time but their watches were on standard time. The bomb detonated an hour early away from any people. More terrorist stupidity.
