I'm running Windows XP and want to run the necf.zip activities. However, the gemegav2.zip file is necessary. I tried installing and it says that the installation was successful. However, none of the trains appear in Train Simulator and numerous error messages pop up after I installed the activities. csxsd70.zip and ngt8blu.zip are also files that I have trouble installing. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Thanks-Tim
NALW ommited the very important "Program Files" from the install directory. You will need to re-install, and add that in when it ask you for where it is to be installed to.Chris Bogley Syracuse New York www.msnusers.com/AshleyPhotography www.msnusers.com/tehachapirails3rd shift Production Lead, Krispy Kreme, East Syracuse NY. www.krispykreme.com
Chris:Thanks for the tip; however I am not very computer literate so if you can give me easy to follow instructions how to re-install the program files I would appreciate it very much.ThanksTim
Okay , assuming you have MSTS installed to your C: Drive you will need to run the installation file again, when it asks you where you want the pack to be installed select browse and then My computer, then Program files, Microsoft games, and then Train Simulator. If I remember correctly that should be the right place for them. Because as Chris stated above that NALW forgot to add the "Program files" part of the line so it installs to the wrong place, if you need further help e-mail me at smp1151@sbcglobal.net Shane Palus . SP Heritage Activity Pack now available from MASW -www.freewebs.com/klwtrainsim
Just look for a folder called Microsoft Games on your C drive if you went with the default, drill down to the Trainset folder and you will find all of the goodies in there. Just copy or move that trainset folder over to your proper Trains/Trainset folder. job done.Beer is not a matter of life and death. It is much more serious than that. mervyn.
