Jan-03-02, 01:26 AM (EST) 2. "RE: Medal Of Honour Single Player Demo" What about 'Return to Castle Wolfenstein'? THAT'S what I can't get away from! The online multiplayer is amazing! I did download Medal of Honor (plus Rougue Spear, plus Ghost Recon, plus ... ), but I just don't think they are as good. My 2 cents. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Jan-03-02, 03:08 AM (EST) 3. "RE: Medal Of Honour Single Player Demo" Operation Flashpoint is still my Favorite... This Medal of Honour sure has sucked up my Train time.. Love the little details.Wolfenstien for me got boring very quick along with Ghost Recon.. Tho Ghost recon multiplayer can be fun with a good multiplayer group.. (ie: minus the hero's) Still i love em all but sadly since getting a train game..poor Counter strike hasnt got even a look from me in about 4 months..Which was a game i lived and breathed before hand :}Heh..Funny..........Catchya's Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Jan-03-02, 10:27 AM (EST) 5. "RE: Medal Of Honour Single Player Demo" Operation Flashpoint:I'm sort of stuck on the mission where your the only one left in the company and you got to make your way through enemy territory to be picked up by a helicopter. My son says I'm supposed to get captured but they keep shooting me. HELLLP!!!I got within four feet of the pickup zone and they killed me.Rich Garber Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Jan-03-02, 12:21 PM (EST) 6. "RE: Medal Of Honour Single Player Demo" LAST EDITED ON Jan-03-02 AT 12:33 PM (EST)Nah Rich.. You CAN grab just one man and a jeep.. Head NW i think..(From bad memory) and you'll come across a camp..at the back of the camp is a Hind.. Theres about 8 or more troops around the camp, take them out..get the FUEL TRUCK and take it to the chopper..fill up and get the hell outa there before this tank rocks up.. Once your flying you can take out the take if you wish..And all other tanks you come across on your way EAst were the general is supposed to be cruising in a jeep to escape the island.. You fly all the way past the jeep (If you spot it) and find the missile launchers you have to take out.. You can stop at your first base if you wish and pick up the rest of your squad. After taking out the launchers.. Your supposed to find the damn jeep..head up the road from it ..land, and snipe the DRIVER ..Not the general..Once the drivers sniped cruise on up to the general and say some famous movie qoute..By the way..Im yet to get to the famous movie qoute Theres also i mission after it where your supposed to take a jeep or chopper or something like that and you pick up all your mates and take em to the pub.. But like i said..I aint got the General yet. :}Let us know how ya go As for my Medal of Honour prob.. It seems to be a bug..Apparently after setting the charge ..a clock should come up with a 5 second count down, Well for me this has not happened in the 8 times ive tried it :{ Oh well..Its just so darn fun Catchya's
(Edit- You know i really should read messages more.. I just realised the stuff ive written is for the second last mission...and your Nooooo way near that hehe..
Heres the one your want.Briefing: You are somewhere in the forest (located at grid location Di54). You must get out of here quickly if you want to save your life. Objective: Get to the rendezvous point in Morton (located at grid location Dj69). Like many Operation Flashpoint missions, there are several different ways to complete After Montignac. You can stick within the forest and crawl your way carefully south toward Morton. You may have to elude several Russian patrols as well as defend yourself against attack. Every choice includes its own set of unique dangers. Here's a sample solution that offers one of the quickest routes to the evacuation zone. TIP: If you plan to sneak your way south to Morton, search the corpses for additional weaponry. For instance, search the corpses in front of your start position for additional M16 magazines, binoculars, and a LAW launcher. You can use the binoculars to scan the upcoming terrain for Russian patrols. Use the LAW launcher to nail unsuspecting patrol groups.
You could drive back inside a commandeered Soviet jeep. Turn to the east and run through the forest toward Ec52. You shouldn't have to crawl within the forest if you turn east and begin running immediately at the start position (if you wait, some Russian patrols within the forest may catch up with you). Emerge out of the forest and scamper into grid location Ec52, making sure to avoid the BMP parked close-by in Ec51. You'll find an abandoned UAZ in Ec52. Get into the UAZ's driver's seat and start south along the road. Stick to the road so you can drive as fast as possible. The BMP may take shots at you. Weave back and forth and proceed through Figari. You may spot another Russian tank and soldiers within Figari.
Your captors are under attack. Remain inside the tent or grab a discarded weapon if you're daring! Maneuver quickly beyond them and continue toward the forest at Ea64. Get within the forest as soon as possible. Radio transmissions soon reveal that the original evacuation zone in Morton has been compromised. A new evacuation point is issued, and your mission plan is updated. Objective: Morton is enemy territory now. Get to the alternative meeting point (located at grid location Ea64). Run into the forest at the evacuation point at Ea64. You're automatically surrounded and captured by Russian soldiers. You appear inside a tent. Stay inside the tent because you're about to be rescued. If you're daring, you can grab an AK-47 from one of the corpses close to the tent and take out the remaining tent guards

Jan-04-02, 06:51 PM (EST) 11. "RE: Medal Of Honour Single Player Demo" I just finished the mission. In order to blow up the rocket launchers, there is a flashing semi invisible red box. Press 'E' (to use it) and it will arm the timer, then after 5 seconds, blow up.Alex Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Jan-08-02, 02:07 AM (EST) 12. "RE: Medal Of Honour Single Player Demo" LAST EDITED ON Jan-08-02 AT 02:09 AM (EST)My first thoughts about this when I saw the opening page was "Oh Boy, another shooter game" Ohhh was I sooo wrong. This game keeps you on the edge of your seat, and sweating, and can be extremely surprising as I my heart raced a couple of times. The gameplay and music are bar-non the best I have heard for some shooters, and the varible graphics setting for those savy guys with 21" monitors will love the screensize selections. The learning curve is very simple to learn, and even though this is a demo, it has showed excellent promise for the full release. I made my pre-order at Gamestop.com and will continue to play the demo until I get my hands on the final. If EA was to be looking over this site, great job, and major Kudos.Question: How do you get by the batteries without being blown to parts. I'm a great sniper shooter, but man!! These Guys have are GOOD. *Drools for the full version*And thanks Bow for the recommendation.Later, happy shooting, just don't forget about Train Simulator.Brian E. Bundridge
