Model Railroad tip – image 1

Hi All , I just got back to my HO Scale Model Railroad Layout ( I will post some pics when I get arround too it ) and they were Really Dusty and almost covered in dirt , so I had an idea , I got the Cotton Swab Q-tips (sp?????) out and a bowl of water and used those to clean the dust out of the hard places on the Different Units and cars. All I did was dip the Q-Tips in the water then ran them along the side of the cars and into all the crevices where dust is and all the dust came up and out. This may help anyone who needs to get the dust off there trains . NOTE , electricity and water do not mix so if possible , take the shell off the unit that you are going to clean before you apply the Q-Tip with water.
