Dec-14-01, 02:47 AM (EST) "Trackside Pix....anyone care to share some ?" Remember Model Railroader Mag's "Trackside Photos"?
I haven't seen very many screenshots lately, so I thought I'd share a couple or so, with the community.
This is Steve Thompson's Northern Pacific Z Class Mallet at Lyle, Washington:
A view of Klickatat, Washington, on my "Goldendale Branch" from the G.C.L.Lumber Co.'s Shops:
GCL Lumber No.2 enters Klickatat Yard, down from the woods:
A Great Northern Work Train leaves K-town, easing down the 2% to Lyle, on the Columbia River:
Well, I hope you enjoyed my shameless exhibitionism. These are shot on a route I'm building (my first)-"The North Bank Route" -very loose interpretation of Spokane Portland and Seattle Ry's Goldendale Branch in Washington State. The adventures in the Route Editor are tales wrought in terrible hardship, endurance and woe- , but gadzooks, it's fun! Thanks to all those who've been there to help! Couldn't have done it without your assistance!Happy Holidays!!TimNow, I aint too mad at Dr. Diesel:

You can get it here:

Dec-18-01, 10:56 PM (EST) 15. "RE: Trackside Pix....anyone care to share some ?" heres my contribution. its my little project im working on. its a reskin of chris longhursts regiorunner converted to diesel and into a totally new train, i call the KT250. pretty much my version of the tgv, but its still electric powered, just by its own little internal nuclear reactor. just my little "fantasy" but its a neat concept.

Would you consider modifying a GP38-2 into a GP39-2. I have an engine file I would like to fit to a turbo model.
Nice C&NW!

Dec-26-01, 02:15 PM (EST) 28. "RE: Trackside Pix....anyone care to share some ?" Hi Bob,Glad you like my latest project. I am hoping to have it ready for upload in a couple of weeks. (Hmmm, I really do work slowly!)As far as the GP39-2, I am not sure that I know what that is exactly. Keep in mind that "BNSF 2098" and the new CNW locomotive are both just reskins of the default GP38-2. I don't really have any way to modify anything but the textures. Justin Cornell redesigned the GP38-2 3D model from the ground up, however. Perhaps he could make a GP39-2 variant?I will certainly let everybody know when the CNW loco is done.Judd Spittler
