Hello,I' m German Train-Simmer and would like to view at the end of a train.
No, no, what I mean is not the view from outside. For example:At the end of a train are working two helpers (alco c424). Is there
an addon to change the engineer- view from the position at the beginning of a train to the end?
Best RegardsDieter

RE: Cab View

Only way I can think of if the helper units have a cabview besides the 1 view, so that when you push 5, you go to this units cab. There are some new CN units in the library that have this. When you start, you are in the lead cabview, but when you push 5 you go to theother units cab.

RE: Cab View

Dieter,You can replace the left or right cabview in the *.cvf file with the centre (first) cabview, with changes to the position to place it at the rear of the unit pointing backwards. This is only of use with one loco alone. In theory you can move the position backwards to be where the last loco is, but on curves the view will follow the centre line of the first loco. With passenger coaches you can adjust the passenger view, if there is one, to give a rear view, but unless there is a loco with a passenger view at the end of the train there is no rear view. If you are making locos, you could make a passenger view of the cab.Viel GluckEric in UK

RE: Cab View

All you have to do is cut and paste the passcabview from one of the coaches into into the eng.file of your helper engine just above the adhesion section is usually a good place and adjust the view so you are looking outside of the cab you must also enter the ID.s file
name in the passview parameter like below this is one in a tender makes the engine kick about a bit as wellInside (
PassengerCabinFile ( 60110_Tender.s )
PassengerCabinHeadPos ( 1.4 2.9 4.7 )
RotationLimit ( 60 210 0 )
StartDirection ( 0 0 0 )

)hope this helps some...........R
