Union Atlantic Railroad Logo Design Contest

For those of you who do not know, a company has been formed called the Union Atlantic Railroad, developing both pay and freeware add-ons for MSTS.To help kick off our site and projects, we're hosting a Logo Design contest. The winner will receive a $25 gift certificate which can be applied to any Union Atlantic Product(s). Send your submissions to logo@union-atlantic.com. You should provide a logo in .bmp or .gif format in a square and heading-banner style format. Preferably 150x150 for square and 750x150 pixels for banner. Union Atlantic's theme colors are Burgundy Red (135.20.10) and Caution Yellow (244.255.3). The logo must say: Union Atlantic Railroad (and) MSTS Division either on different lines or seperated by a hyphen (-). And one blank of each (banner and square) must be provided. Any font may be used but you must understand that we may modify the text on your logo to suit the page it is going on. You are WELCOME to send drafts to us for comments and suggestions and we will provide fair and honest feedback. Judging will be done by a small group of third party users. We will not end the contest early.Submissions will be accepted through Thursday, December 11th, with the winner being decided on Saturday, December 13th in our next newsletter. The prize will be awarded once the winner is decided.The logo will be featured on the http://uarr.union-atlantic.com home page and others.The site is not complete and this is a very early placeholder; please do not report 404 errors. Just a couple of questons, where does the route start, and where does it end? It would be nice to know what the RR's mission is. Jeff

The UARR is just a name for the company, it's a division of the BVE site.The mission is to create quality add-ons for MSTS, we have several rotues planned, and since it's not a logo for the route and we have yet to officially annouce the route, it's hard for me to say. If that's not what you meant, let me know.Tim Frost
