I don't know exactly how it happened (probably in my overzealousness to fight Spyware) I have messed up my Flash Player. Shockwave seems to be OK, but Flash Player does not work at all. In fact, it's not even installed now (though I don't remember uninstalling it). At any rate, I've tried and tried to download Flash Player 7 from Macromedia's website with no success. I don't know why this is b/c, once again, Shockwave was just fine. The Flash Player page just sits there and looks back at me. . . Anyway, I've searched Google to try to find an alternate download page and all I can find is the plug-in for Netscape, Mozilla, and Macs--everybody just redirects to the Macromedia page for IE. Can anybody offer an alternate webpage for this, or maybe send me the freeware Flash Player 7 file? Thanks. MSTS happily uninstalled since June, 2003
-----You are reading my signature now, don't waste your time reading it!----- Or probably, maybe you should waste your time reading it. Eh, where did my signature go? Oh, here it is, the one you are reading right now? Can't you see it? I know I know, it's probably too bright to see it. Hey, look at my avatar, nice right? I drew it with my own hands holding the mouse in Paint, with the pencil tool(and the Filling tool!)! It's a picture of me in Planet Stooopid, where everything is the same as what you call "Earth" except that we are called "aliens" in your planet. Anyway, I warned you not waste time reading my signature! You have just wasted probably about 30 seconds reading it, where you could have spent the time doing better things, like maybe reading the next post below if there is one...
Uninstalled all of the spyware fighters, uninstalled flash player, reinstalled all of the spyware fighters and unchecked the "Kill flash player" box, then searched all over the Macromedia FAQs until I finally found a place to download the flash player using a file download rather than an auto installer. Works great! MSTS happily uninstalled since June, 2003
