New York, November 23, 2003: Today, a temporary PATH station in the World Trade Center Site will open to passengers, bringing PATH trains back to Lower Manhattan for the first time since 9/11. Like the Greenwich Street Subway (1/9), the opening of the terminal is another sign of rebuilding. The terminal is highly controversial, as it grazes the footprint of the south tower.
