RE: Heavy Duty Flat Car

Interesting... early thursday morning a 4 car Boeing special train crossed over at Balfour,IA with a flat car with a very similar looking tarped load. Suppose it's a helium based transmogrifier hidden under there??

RE: Heavy Duty Flat Car

Considering the size of the load, the number of axles on the car, and the "do not hump" sign,I'd say it's carrying Rosie O'Donnell. The hoppers are the food cars.

I know someone who works with Boeing and I asked them what could be under a trap like that and they said that they send those out so the Terrorists think that we are getting ready to attack and get scared . he said that all that is under there is a few Garbage cans and some old Car parts ( Yes I am just kidding and I have no Idea )

Don't laugh - I've seen cars like that ...Test loads to confirm clearances with tunnels, bridges, and the like. Sometime they even weigh them down to simulate the weight on a 'super-heavy' car.

There's only 28 of that kind. I saw a whole train of them, crossing into Canada at Noyes(I saw it in Grand Rapids)with some oil equipment. I forgot where it was going, please tell me if you have some info. (I think it was the second out of 3, but it may have been the first) I guess caboose crews are almost as nice as the cab crew and switchmen)
