Nov-26-01, 05:59 AM (EST) "reskinning" I am just learning how to reskin locos and I want to find out if there is anything that explains how to do it. I can't really get the hang of PSP7 so I actually use Windows Paint. If I use PSP7, I find that the textures on the Locos are all over the place, and its barely recognisable. If I use Windows Paint, I don't get this problem. Is it essential to use PSP7 or is Windows Paint good enough? Another thing, I have recently attempted to upload some locos but they were too big at 11megs. How do I keep them down to around 2megs. Please forgive me if I sound silly, but I am still learning the trade. Thanks Folkes and hooroo from Down Under

"RE: reskinning" First you might want to note that we have a message forum specifically on the topic of reskinning, so you would be better off asking your questions there...I don't believe Windows Paint can be used, since many textures have an Alpha channel that controls the see-through parts and you'll lose that channel unless you use the right paint program.
