Hi all,I went for a little trip this afternoon and spent some time checking out and photographing some railroad-related locations in Lebanon, PA (about 40 minutes or so from my home). I saw a long NS intermodal train heading westbound towards Harrisburg (it was probably headed to Rutherford Yard, which NS uses as an intermodal facility, but this is just speculation on my part). I caught the whole train on MPEG video (as I usually do whenever I am in position to watch trains) on my digital camera, from the SD40-2 and two Dash 9's in the lead to the last empty flat car way back at the end of the train. I also took some pictures of the Lebanon station (now a bank...it has semaphore signals in the drive-through ) and outside the Lebanon NS yard office (basically three sidings with boxcars of various sizes), the block signals at MP 90 on NS Harrisburg Line (I usually watch trains from MP 98, the Derry Road crossing in Hershey, PA), the Annville station, and the signals at CP Millards outside of Palmyra, PA. If anyone is interested in a picture of the Lebanon station (with the semaphore signals in the drive-through), I will post it here upon request.Note: My railfan trip was based on the Lebanon-Millards segment of the Norfolk Southern Harrisburg Line tour (from Wyomissing, PA to Harrisburg, PA), found on the web at:http://www.#####.com/tours/ns/NSWyoHbg.htmTim Herman (parailfan312)
