you play DC too? what's ur guys' names? also you should check out some of ther other Mod's for BF1942, such as Eve Of Destruction and Experience World War 2 ( very good if you like realism, and good team work). lemmie know, maybe we can hook up some time, and kill eachother

Its by far my favorite game on computer at the moment (remembering MSTS is NOT a game )Its really good on over the net against other people, but I prefer it against my mates in a LAN situation. Some great fun in this mod. The only downside is that it kinda sucks, F16's in the battle of Britian :| . BF 1942 is the game that took me away from MSTS, never liked FPS's much, but this game is addicting. I prefer regular BF and EOD, DC's a little too chaotic and dangerous for an infantryman like me.I have been working on a map for regular BF, and of course it has a railroad in it:The track is a default object and the tie spacing is a bit unrealistic, but it helps keep rendering lag down.I usually play on the EA servers as Xacto, don't shoot me if you see me there

Has anyone here heard of Delta Force 2? Its slightly on the unrealisitc side, when your are in F5 view, then you shoot up, the gun don't move, just your head; not to mention the lack of blood (I'm not a gore lover, I sometimes like a real "sim") muahahaha! I don't play multiplayer, you won't catch me anywhere there. Especialy past 7:45 edt. Hey, anyone want to kill me on F16 Multirole Fighter? ROFLOL! P.S. Why in the world does Ghost Recon not want to work now? Do I have to uninstall it and possibly buy it again? Oh well, I'm just waiting for The Sims Makin Magic to come out. lolBest Regards,

Thanks! That worked, I actually couldn't uninstall from change\remove programs utility, but once I deleted the folder, then poped GRRRRR (Ghost Recon) CD in my drive, it did it. Wanna kill me some time? LOL!
Thanks to Ghost Recon a got put on edge and even my dog walking around startled me!

So Redfish isn't an active member, Malice? Yet he wears his old 96th ID into battle? The shame. Not very honorable, eh? Once I get better at staying alive, I'll make sure to target him mercilessly! Forgotten Battles is a full 180 degress different than CFS2. A lot to re-learn.What little time I've got for online killing has mostly been dedicated to BF1942 Desert Combat. I love that game. There's not much that's more satisfying than you and one more guy (usually my brother, 54th_ElephantNest) defending a position and holding a flag against repeated assaults from a numerically superior force. Also, the other night I downloaded and installed the Wolfenstein Enemy Territory demo. Haven't gotten a chance to try it yet. Maybe it'll lead me away from DC finally. IF it can replicate the thrill of shooting down a pesky jet with my shoulder-fired Stinger.If you run into any 54th guys out there, you can be assured of a good, fair game. We don't allow any cheats or hacks of any sort. S!

It was intended as a sequel to 'Return to Castle Wolfenstein', but the idea was scrapped due to slow development. Actually, there is now an 'RTCW Platinum Edition' available which includes both the original game and ET ... only $38 CDN at WalmartHowever, in my opinion (and that of most serious Wolfers I know) it isn't close to being as good as the original RTCW. The online multiplayer aspect of the original RTCW is phenominal. I have logged more hours on that than I really care to admit to.

The original RTCW isn't an option for me. First of all, I'm at my limit of retail sims. Secondly, it sounds a little rough as far as the gore and "scary" factors are concerned. I have to be aware of my little boy coming into the room at any time. I don't want to warp his mind! lolPop
