I have a few photos, but they were too big to upload here. Give me your email address, and I will forward them to you. Last year, TRAINS had a very nice write up on the display. Might have been the Nov. 2002 issue, or maybe even early this year. Email me at tailsnrails@hotmail.com for pic's.Chris Bogley chrisb@tailsnrails.com Syracuse New York www.tailsnrails.com

The layout has fallen into disrepair, there used to be litte buttons you could push (like stop the commuter train at the station, move the crane at seattle) but only one of them works, theres a bunch of gum and junk on the track, only a half of the trains work. I would think if you spent $3Million, you'd keep it in good shape! I went there when they opened it, it was great! But when I went there last week,Im not so shure..

They sure had a lot of trains running when I was there on Sept. 11th. I agree that it was a shame that some of the buttons were already not working, not even a full year since opening, but it sure beats the previous layout. As for the area, I've seen worse! Coming from the city is not bad, but if you are heading from or to the Skyway, it is not suggested that you stop for gas or food in those 2 or so miles.Chris Bogley chrisb@tailsnrails.com Syracuse New York www.tailsnrails.com
