I was walking around a SEPTA station at the end of the line in West Trenton, NJ this past Saturday. It is a 2-track line that is shared with the local freight line (NS), which continues northward. SEPTA has a small yard a short distance from the station. Besides getting wet in the rain, I noticed two rectangular yellow signs, one on each side of the tracks, both pointing south with the letters D.I.B.Does anyone know what D.I.B. means? Thanks!

Anyway, hope this is the correct answer and it helps."Logic is only the Beginning."

Thanks! That's sounds right to me. I'll plan a second excursion to the area and check some more things out. There's a control tower near the station. If I behave myself, maybe I can talk the trainmen into giving me a tour! I searched for D.I.B. with AskJeeves and kept getting references to "Device Independent Bitmaps" and some character called Paul Moadib from the movie "Dune".

I forgot about Muad'Dib! The desert mouse! Maybe it was warning drivers that they were entering the Faufreluches and to beware of any passing Bene Gesserit, or that a mouse crossing was ahead.( Sorry, sci-fi is another passion of mine besides MSTS... Couldn't resist confusing anyone else reading the thread who hasn't read the Dune series. )Try plugging in DIB with "railroad" - that's what got it for me.

It is by caffiene alone that I set my mind in motion.
It is by the Juice of the beans that thoughts acquire speed,
the teeth a stain, the hands the shakes.
The shakes become a warning.
It is by caffiene alone that I set my mind in motion.(heh. that's a little twist to the by my will rant of the human computers)

I've heard some of the posters here at Train-Sim refer to the MSTS Route Editor as the "weirding module".
