No, the the two locos always used by the holiday trains have a US and Canadian flag decal on the inverter cabinet. (Hint: this unit has been discussed in the forum before)Jonathan Nikiforovs.

Yes Keith, that's the one. CP finally got around to having that thing fixed.
(note how clean it is)Here is the thread
http://www.train-sim.com/cgi/dcforum/dcboard.cgi?az=show_thread&om=4364&forum=DCForumID1I also spotted this unit in May, in tow on another train, still scorched. Maybe they were moving it to be fixed?Jonathan Nikiforovs.

RE: Whats so special about this unit?

WOW! It's amazing that they could clean it up like that!!!

This is the Orange Line train bound for Pattison, the next stop is Walnut-Locust, stand clear of the closing doors.

>I liked it better burned. LOL! As for me tough, a shiny, new-looking loco is a welcome change for my eyes, because most of the CP units I see are suffering from heavy dirt buildup, and more importantly, paint and decal delamination. The only "clean" unit I see on a regular basis is an ex-Guilford GP40-2 recently repainted to CP livery (this engine makes local runs for the Oshawa GM plant). Ironically, it is usually paired with its disgusting looking ex-Guilford siblings.Jonathan Nikiforovs.

LOL! There is nothing like a burnt GE! BTW, if anybody sees a BNSF D9-44CW with an EMD builders plate over the GE stickers, please let me know. This unit is missing in action Austin

I'm still by amazed how well the front withstood that impact.
BTW, sometime I may try my hand at making a skin of that, not that I could distribute it (you know how RRs feel about derailments and damaged versions of their rolling stock in train sims).
