How Long For First Class Membership Activation?

I applied for and paid the $30 for First Class Membership yesterday.I will email Nels in a few days if first class membership File Library access has not been activated.However, although I am not (yet) overly concerned, I just want to get an idea on how long does it take for the membership to be activated?Thanks.

Your membership upgrade takes place immediately, assuming you filled everything out right (it's rather amazing how many people don't!).

Although I have received an email from Nels in response to my email regarding inability to log into the File Library as a First Class Member, the issue has yet to be resolved! (Nels email basically said you log in using the name you chose). That is precisely what I have been doing!On the application form for First Class Membership, I chose my user name (PeterB) and password (******) (which are the same one's I use to log into the forums) as the login name and password.
However, every time I attempt to login to the File Library using the above name and password, I always get the "Incorrect Password . . " message coming up!That message suggests that the name and/or password are incorrect!My understanding is that the Forums and File Library use different databases, and therefore the same name and password should work!? Yes?So, has anyone had similar problems and/or can someone offer some help please.

Suggest you ask Nels to reset the password as there may have been a mistake in your typing input or the case is incorrect.

Thanks for your comments.I tried logging in using various combinations of upper and lower case letters in case I accidentally mistyped my name and/or password, but again to no avail. Anyway, I am almost 100% certain of the name and password (and case sensitivity) I used on the application form.At this stage the options would appear to be to discard my previous application and to reapply or, not to, and get a refund.From reading some previous posts on these forums, it would appear that most people have had little or no problem becoming and logging into the File Library as First Class Members. However, I thought I read at least one post (awhile ago) when someone had difficulties logging in as a First Class Member. Recent searches failed to find that post.I am hoping that that person, and perhaps others, with similar problems could help also.

Peter, no one here in the forums is going to be able to help you!If you are still having problems contact me via email, describe exactly what the problem is, and I'm sure we can resolve it.It sounds like you've just forgotten your password and if so it's easy enough to look up.

Assuming you are successful in obtaining First Class Membership (and have access to the File Library as a FCM), then the membership is good for one year.

Problem is now finally solved!For the benefit of interested people, the login details you provide on the application form for First Class Membership MUST be the details for logging into the File Library.In my case, I provided Forum login details which are different to my File Library login details. Also, my Forum login user name happens to correspond to another users File Library login name, which ultimately led to the problems I was experiencing.
