" Hiya folks, ive been sweeping the net trying to find out just where i stick new addons for train sim...Ive had a shot at downloading a few new cars and a train, but i cant seem to get it in the right folder for use..i extracted them into the trainset folder , started the game and just couldnt find them ? am i doing it all wrong ? The hard part, which isn't too difficult is using the activity editor to assemble what's called a consist. A consist is basically the "train" itself, the loco(s) and set of cars you choose. You'll find the editor typically under program files/microsoft games/train sim/train sim editor and tools directory. Choose the activity editor from there. There's some good info in the Activity Design forum on how to use it. It's not very hard, just takes some practice. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
