I have been seeing a number of trains running into Kansas City from Los Angeles with NS engines. I know this is part of a run through agreement. My question for someone back in NS territory: Are you seeing a large number of BNSF equipment on their line?

RE: BNSF Power on NS

On Thursday evening I saw a long pig train running east through Riverside with 3 BNSF and 1 CN, I thought that was kinda strange looking.

Being on the Virginia Division, Winston-Salem District, we rarely get foreign power here, but the Piedmont Division is getting alot.I was at Pomona Terminal today, and 218 went by with a UP SD70M f/f and a UP C40-8. 212 also had a CSX SD60M leading. We are seeing alot of foreign power lately on the NS mainlines.

The line through Hagerstown, MD is getting alot of BNSF power lately. I've been seeing lots of "heads up" posts about BNSF power on 15T, 16T, 215 and 216. All kinds of stuff; pumpkins, warbonnets, green/cream SD70MAC's, etc.Chris Denbow - Baltimore, MD
