It's almost time for me to pack up and start my move from Salinas, CA to Rochester, NY. I can hardly wait for some new railfanning opportunities. After 43 years in CA, NY State is going to be a whole different world. It's a littls scary, and a bit exciting too. I'll be on here for a few more days then *poof* off till my broadband is up back there. See you all again soon, and thanks for all the help that I have recieved here over the last year..... I'm sorry...do the voices in my head bother you too?
Wow Mark! From sunny CA to New Yawk??? Talk about culture shock! Hope you enjoy it, though. I'm sure you'll eventually check out the Adirondack Mountains... very beautiful. I think there's still some interesting railroading left in NY, as well as nearby NE, though like most regions, much of the truly fascinating railroading is gone. Fare well, simmer friend. Holler at us when you're back online.BTW... better get ALL the pics you think you'll need depiciting your current CA Coastal Route's area before you leave!Andre Ming
