Pentium 3 450
128mb ram
Voodoo 3 2000 agp
I have the latest drivers for all hardware and I am running Directx 8.0

Jun-16-01, 03:27 AM (EST) 1. "RE: how would train sim run on this?" I have quite an old but reliable AMDK6-2 450mhz, 192 Mb SDram, and Voodoo 3 3000 PCI card. I just picked up Train-sim today and am getting 15-20 frames per second. Sometimes it'll drop of course in really heavy scenery but is still very playable. I hope this helps. Jun-17-01, 06:57 AM (EST) 3. "RE: how would train sim run on this?" My system would not run in 1024 x 768 res with a vodoo 3 16 mb card. It ran in 800 x 600 res. I read somewhere any video card 16 mb or less is suspect. I wound up replacing the card. Also while I had the box open added more Ram which greatly helps performance. Jun-17-01, 02:03 PM (EST) 4. "RE: how would train sim run on this?" I hate to admit it, but I'm using a Packard Bell (Puke and Belch) that's 333MhZ, 96 Meg RAM, and a Voodoo 3 2000 PCI video card. While I am not getting the same results as those with high-powered machines, Train Sim runs OK on it. I just make sure to run Enditall before starting TrainSim.
