So, what are the good PC benchmarking programs? Are there any I need to stay away from? Thanks,
Pop Edit: I'm downloading PCMark2002 and 3DMark03. Any thoughts on those two?

RE: PC Benchmarking

You're right, but I'm wanting to learn more about this new rig than how it runs MSTS (which isn't even reinstalled yet. I dread doing that! lol).
I'm looking for quantifiable readings on mobo throughput, memory use, hard drive performance, vid card performance and throughput, etc. Trust me, I can't afford a machine that would handle MSTS without hiccups. The raw power needed to overcome the poorly written MSTS game engine is out of my price range.Pop
