I heard on my CSX Riverline yahoo grouo that UP is going to get Selkirk yard in New York state, CSX's Chicago line from selkirk, CSX's Boston Line and CSX's Riverline. Does any have any ideas about if this will happen?Lets go CSX
I'm reading that very group Right nowMaybe if UP takes it over, it'll be completely double tracked?also, there may be some truth to it, now with UP slapping the UPS service out of BNSF's hand, UP would be a true trans-con networkah well better then NS or BNSF getting it (both of which i am not to fond of)

UP will again become trans-continental....UP will also take over every railroad system in the country and thn the world, and will become the ONE railroad at the end of everything......either that or GWI will purchase everything......or maybe Microsoft.....

I think that group might be mis-informed. CSX will take the UPS train east through New York just as it always have, only now it will be partly with UP.Some of these groups like to start talk about stuff like this, which has no value. When i first read it i was completely shocked and i dont really believe it because teh Chicago Line and Boston Line are two of CSX's major lines in the northeast and i highly doubt that CSX would give up the lines and also Selkirk. Although that would be amazing if they did. CSX for life! They can beat UP anytime!ps. CSX will take over the railroading world long before UP ever would. Lets go CSX
