After having a tire go flat on my truck and spending 55mins to fix it....i figured my railfanning for today (sunday) was shot. I fixed the flat and went out to eat. On my way back, i saw 9 locos just sitting in the yard here in lubbock! What Luck! I went back, grabbed my camera, and shot the hell out of these locomotives with just barely enough time to get them before the sun went down. The sunset also helped the photos. Pictured are BNSF GP60M 108, SF GP 60M 150, SF Dash-B40W 528, BNSF B40W 517, BNSF B40 8613, EMDX GP38 767, SF CF7 1684, and SF GP35 2532. Enjoy the photos...i did taking them

yes, that is one of the SF's GP7(9) rebuilds. The cab is the same as applied to the CF7s, and the body resembles one, os i can see how people get confused. Just remember the only CF7 to have a dynamic brake buldge is gone now (torn to pieces to fix those Blue and Orange F3s over on the east coast.)EDIT: The Geeps, and the CF7s were both rebuilt at Cleburn (i know its mis-spelled....)Local Railranning, Lubbock, TX yard – image 53

HI Bill- Just to clarify- No CF7's exist anymore. 1684 is a GP9M. 1680 is now preserved in Temple, Texas. I hope to be at the Lone Star Region, National Model Railroad Assn. convention in Lubbock this June, and the tour I've signed up for is the Lubbock yard tour.
