Press CTRL-SHIFT-9 when in views 2,3, and 4 to get decent angles on your shots! Use the regular camera view keys and your right mouse button to get the angle. Here's some examples of what can be done:http://groups.msn.com/BridgeCommanderArt/trainsimulatorshots.msnwEdit: Speeling

RE: NEW CAMERA VIEWS!

This is why I always check out the "newbie" posts! It happens I was hip to the Ctrl-Shift-9 bit, but I'm constantly picking up on something "everybody else" has known about for months. I played with MSTS for weeks without realizing Ctrl-down arrow rotated the external view to ground-level. I wish there was a repository just for newbie stuff - or maybe a suppository, which would be even more fun!

RE: NEW CAMERA VIEWS!

Yes...this is indeed "old news", and granted "new news" for some...but, to further enhance these views by changing perspective and "focal length" of these views go to this site to learn how to experiment with the Camcfg.dat files at http://microsoftgamesinsider.com/TrainSimulator/InsideTrainSimulator/Another_Point_of_View.htmBy experimenting with "focal length" type perspectives brings a whole new type of views within the sim. Have fun!!KipNew Camera Views! – image 5

RE: NEW CAMERA VIEWS!

I have owned MSTS for nearly two years now and this is the first I have heard of the CTRL-SHIFT-9 aspect. Is this mentioned in the MSTS documention? If not, where is it documented?Cheers,

HAPPY NOW? It's not moving anymore.
It's still the same train but in another livery, that's all.
