It's Offical – image 1

Not to continue this out. I got the ok from Mr. Anderson, so effective this Saturday, SCROLLING Train Gifs are no longer.HOWEVER.If you want STATIC *Non Moving* Consists as a SINGLE gif, this is ok. I'm not going to bulldog it, but anything scrolling across I will private message you about.Goodday

I think this rule should be repealed at once. How many people have obused the righ to have scrolling gifs? 1,2, 3 at the most but not all 8987 members! The people who abuse this right should be limited not everyone!-NHtrain

Well put. The most I ever did was 2 lines, and I only did that once. The guys who always put 2 or 3 lines are the ones who should be forced to tone it down. Let's start a petition or something to repeal the ban.

I think that a compramise is in order! Trains gifs should follow these rules.
A. They entire train must be one picture
B. Only one line permitted
C. No train gifs threads unless one is specified by a moderator-NHtrainKEEP THE TRAIN GIFS ROLLIN'!

most people dont come here to see moving trains across the bottom of every post, nor to read this....they come to talk about Train Sims and real trains. So lets just keep this fourm to trains.

Hmm,well I am being quite nice, I was told I could have them totally gone, but I guess this is what I get for being a nice guy huh?if you want to see gifs going by back and forth go to http://www.geocities.com and make your own website which you can have fun making tons and tons of gifs.I guess I could turn into a total hard ass and just have all the gifs removed right?

Whoa there - I was merely pointing it out, nothing more. I will be more than happy to see the end of moving gifs as I find them a pain in the butt. And, at the risk of upsetting all the other moderators (wherever they may be), the reason your nerves are getting frayed is that because you are the only one that seems to be doing anything. I exclude Nels from that statement as he has two sites to run and that is probably two more than the rest of us would be able to handle.Bill

I understand fully.That is why I posed the question.There is a world of difference between a Gif that is "static".IE not moving across your screen,and an animated Gif that is also static.IE it moves within its outline.Therefore I conclude that it is you that lacks comprehension of basic English.
