Only #37? I can relate to every one of them - and married a girl railfan to boot! (Naw, it wasn't the #1 selection criterion, but it helped!)
RE #46: My usual comment, if someone else does it, is: "Don't take so hard a set, you'll never make the station!" Gets some weird looks from non-railfans. I stop in place and take 60 seconds to recharge if I do it myself.

Railfan means anything on rails! Trains Trolleys Rollercoasters - you name it.

One that's not on there is: You try to impress the train crew by referring to their locomotive and saying "I've got a scale model of that engine back home," only to hear them retort, "Yeah, but we've got the real thing."Railfans can be annoying sometimes. This I have learned by working on a railroad. It's okay to be a railfan, just don't be an annoying railfan.

Let's not forget # 53, 54 and 55:53) When your screensaver (at home or at work or BOTH) is a montage of locomotive pictures.54) When you print out calendars, you put pictures of train objects (including locomotives and passenger trains) somewhere on the calendar.55) When all you dream of is trains. How's that for a bunch of add-ons?
By the way, yes, all 3 apply to me...so sue me...Stuart D. Guberman
