Watching "Real TV" the other day, and they had 2 very fine Canadian things on it. One was HMCS Huron shooting missiles, and one went awry and went after HMCS Vancouver. Much to the communal 'Oh Sh!ts' from the guys who were filming it from the flight deck. *Rolls eyes*. BUT, the one I want more information on, is I saw this video where a CN Freight with an intermodal train went underneath some overpass that was WAY too low for double stack containers. Helluva mess! Anyone have info on what happened?BTW: This sunday on Discovery Channel is a special on Railroading in North America. The commercial showed Several CP AC4000's and VIA P42's, and a bunch of other stuff, like Acelas. They were showing what it takes to build a modern railroad, and it looked like the CP stuff was in the rockies somewhere, and the P42's in Southern Ontario.

I wanna highball it through Woodstock, Ont. on none other than...THE TURBOTRAIN!!!

RE: Canadian Railroad TV Stuff

Yes i also so what happend in that story. What had happend was the train got to you overpass like you said and when the train crew found out that it wasn't high enough for them to pass under it they radioed dispatch. They where told to go under the bridge anyway so they wouldn't keep other trains waiting. What they said happend is the train was sent down the wrong track ie the dispatch forgot how tall a intermodel car is.
