Opening Day for G-scale layout! (Pics!) – image 1

Yes!! Today was narrow gauge(G-scale size) PRR 2-6-0 No. 2518's first run of the season!! The 2518 and D&RGW rolling stock made the trip. The layout area needs a ton of work, including fixing up the road bed, planting more plants (which I hate!) and re-mulching the area(which I also hate! ) Anyway, included in the pictures is my new water tank, and when I make my next shots, the Silverton Depot (Pola) will be in there too!!!Enjoy the pictures, but trust me, being by the locomotive while it's running is far better, you should hear the sound!!!!!!!!! For the pics: http://groups.msn.com/mstsnarrowgauge/ngmodelinggscale.msnwTell me what you think,

Ahh! Very nice, very nice indeed. John, your lucky to have a layout like that. I wish I had one but it would be quite complicated to constantly build/remove the track on the parking lot as we live in an apartment. Great pics! /Jonatan

Not very long...but it isn't finished yet.The roadbed was the hardest. You have to dig a trench and fill it with gravel.Opening Day for G-scale layout! (Pics!) – image 27
