MSTS screws up again – image 1

My dad decided to hop on MSTS today cause he was bored...apparently the morons called Microsoft screwed up on some things..as he was telling me...the "Dash 9" cab isn't really a "dash 9" cab...he said it was more like the EMD's than the GE's...and b4 u go arguing..he's a BNSF conductor and has ridden in everything...and yes i was using a Dash 9....maybe Kuju and MS could actually research a little more

Kuju not Microsoft created the contents of the sim, so maybe you should actually research a little more before calling someone a moron.

RE: MSTS screws up again

Has your dad the BNSF conductor been in BNSF 4723? That is the actual Dash9 modeled in MSTS.I don't know much about trains but I understand that you probably cannot tell what kind of power unit you are in simply by looking at the controls. In short, it would not be unusual for two Dash9's to have completely different contols configurations. Perhaps most BNSF engines are console control as most engineers prefer that over desktop controls. It doesn't mean that ALL BNSF Dash9s are going to be configured that way.Check out the real BNSF 4723 at this link:

Click to send message via ICQ

There would be no difference between 4723 and any other C44-9W on the roster.

Hi KyleIf you don't ask, you don't learn. It's just a case of learning the right way to ask. Keep 'em coming, we'll field 'em.
