Wow, that is neat! I have the LEGO Super Chief F-7 and a matching observation car sitting in front of my LEGO train station, but I got those directly from LEGO shop-at-home

I'm starting into the construction of 4-wide Legos for use with HO Scale track and couplers. its works out rather nicely actually, my first work was a Union Pacific B40-8, but i'm going to rebuild it into probably something else, and make it more prototipical in size vs. scalingPrevious Topic | Next Topic – image 14

Here, i uploaded a picture of my (soon to be) Soo GP38-2.its a 4-wide lego creation with HO-scale trucks and "X2F" couplers on it so it rolls on HO track, the "X2F" couplers are not compatable with my other "Real" equipment, but this isn;t supposed to be tagged on with a real train, just of the lego varity.Later I might upload my unfinished FIRST model, a Union Pacific B40-8 or somehting like that.Previous Topic | Next Topic – image 38

>do that with mine. If you're doing a "real" sized lego thing (L-Guage) O-Scale decals work VERY nicely on the locomotives, for my SOO thing, I plan on using HO Decals, they're about the right size.

RE: Lego Trains

I'm sorry for not having pictures, othewise I'd share them with you. I did once build a 0-4-0 steam switcher with working air brakes and valvegear. It mesured 69.5cm in length without tender and it was also battery powered with a motor at each axle.
But clumsy me did ofcourse drop it on the floor smashing it to bits (again). DOH!/Jonatan

6 1/3 weeks. Realy nice engine with lost of details. I was very proud of myself when finished. The home-made decals made it Southern Pacific RR #1982. *bangs head into wall* I hate myself for dropping it on the floor! The loco was built from a picture I made on the computer. I still have it if you want to see it./Jonatan

Howdy Everyone!Well, needless to say you folks have made some awesome, amazing works of art! I am truly awed by everything that you guys have created! I also couldn't pass up the chance to post a project I did just before christmas, a small tank engine. Sadly, like Jen Chris I have scraped many of my past locomotives (a GP-38, a trolley, and a F40) for other projects. Oh well I hope you enjoy this one, with real working firebox!Power On!
