Need help with an argument. Can somebody tell me just exactly comprises the Santa Fe "War Bonnet"? Are there any depictions of feathers involved?

Pictured is an ATSF War Bonnet paint scheme. The design is supposed to invoke the image of an indian chief's head-dress, so stylistically speaking, feathers could be considered represented.

According to "Santa Fe Railway" by Steve Glischinski (MBI Publishing Company) Page 89.In 1936 Santa Fe was using EMC's new E1 model passenger diesel for its Super Chief."Even more special than these locomotives was the paint scheme applied to them by Electro-Motive illustrator Leland A. Knickerbocker. Many years later dubbed as the "warbonnet" scheme, Knickerbocker placed red paint with a yellow separating strip around the nose of the diesel, with a portion trailing back on the locomotive flanks. The results resembled an Indian headress with feathers trailing behind."Also there was two different versions. The red/yellow/silver for passenger and a blue/yellow scheme for freight.Hope this helps. ps. I typed this out one time but I think I forgot to click "Post Message". If it shows up twice, sorry.
