Just click the scenario you want on the left of the "Drive a train" screen and choose the locomotive and cars you want. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

That works for "explore route", but I don't believe it works
for specific activities, correct? In other words, if I was running an Empire Builder activity
on Marias Pass, I couldn't use an F7A consist instead of
the EB, could I?

Sep-05-01, 03:44 PM (EST) 3. "RE: Importing cars and locos" Jim, locomotives and consists in an activity are chosen for you by the author of the activity. The fellow just asked how he could import locomotives and cars from one route to another. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

"RE: Importing cars and locos" LAST EDITED ON Sep-06-01 AT 02:08 AM (EST)It can be done by editing the .srv file in the SERVICES folder and the .act file in the ACTIVITIES folder with Wordpad. Just change the consist in the Train_Config line of the .srv file. Eg. Train_Config ( 2000Std )to Train_Config ( TrakTruc ) then "save as" whatever name you want. Then change the Player_Service_Definition line in the act file Eg. Player_Service_Definition ( "Cramdondelduf to Viaducthead" to Player_Service_Definition ( "Cramdondelduf to Viaducthead 2" and "save as" whatever.
This will only work on the same route. There is no way that I know of to edit activities for different routes without using the Route Editer.Richard Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
