had a kick A** day yesterday. Me and a friend showed up to my schools basketball game. We showed up early meaning the girls game was going on. When we walked in this guy told us we could win 100 bucks if we put our name in the box, so we did and went in to watch the game. Well during half-time an anoncement asked us and a guy from another school to half court. I had no idea what was going on. When we get up there we find out to win the 100 bucks we have to make a basket from half-court! SO we kinda back up cause none of us want to go first, so the guy who's from Sonic (he sponser of this) gave me the ball. OK so I walked up to half court gave, did a hook shot, it flew in the air, I saw it over the basket, and bounced off the rim. Oh well then me friend Dave goes up take a regular shot off the back of the rim. HTen The Franklin guy takes a hot and airball. Oh well so we turn to go back when i hear, how about double or nothing? So we turn back, he the Sonic guy hands me the ball i pull back , do the hook shot again, it shores over again, Ah its going to hit the rim again! SWOSH! It went in, the crowed go nuts and I am just smil;ing and understandbly shocked! I turn around and I shake everyones hand. I am told to go speak to the guy at the radio station and he will tell me that he will get the money. SO I go back they both iss it and I gat an ovation back to my seats. I just won 200 bucks thats damn goo for a teenanger! Then My Basketball team plays Franklin our cross team rivals that we can never beat exception for Hockey! ANyway we are playing bad the first half even down by 20 at a point. Then they start to turn things around at the second half. Still have not lead the gmae yet. Then With 3 seconds left we are own 61-59, our point makes an attempt at a 3 at the buzie, we just watch it in silence then, swosh, we won! We run down to grab that guy and put him over our arms! AMazing beat Franklin 62-61 at the buzzer the only time in the whole game they toook the lead. ANd I won 200 bucks for making a half-court shot! I am extreml happy and wanted to share it!
