What the heck is going on here? Where the black box is, should be a black and white picture of Lars Ulrich drumming, its fine i can watch it and all, but then i go to take a screenie grab, and i get this, i sense a Censoring thing, but is there a way to over ride it? All i want are some pictures for my locker man!

RE: Windows Media Player Ques....

I'm not at all sure how this relates to Train Simulators...Modern video cards use a hardware overlay buffer when doing video playback. Kinda-sorta like the "blue screen" they use for weather forecast at your local TV station. When you take a screen capture, all you get is what's in the normal video buffer, not the hardware overlay. Why do they use the hardware overlay buffer? Because it can be done in a different colorspace and the video card can decode video frames a lot faster that way. There's not really any censoring going on. If you want to capture individual frames from a video, or similar, you might try the tool VirtualDub at http://www.virtualdub.org/

I think the issue may be you need the proper codec installed, In this case, It's more then likely Divx, Goto www.divx.com, find and download the free-ware standard edition codec, install them and see if that helps.Windows Media Player Ques – image 4

RE: Windows Media Player Ques....

Actually, the latest version is 9. But as long as you have the right codecs and you're not streaming from an Internet server, which version you have doesn't matter.
