Jun-09-01, 03:11 PM (EST) "A question to "TGV" " Hi TGV !
I have a question for you .
As you may know, I love the TGV but can you tell me what kind of Canadian technology and design does the TGV have ? I know that the Acela was made by both Bombardier and Alstom so it is a Franco-Canadian train. I also know that the TGV was made by ANF Industries, which belongs to Bombardier. But are there other things ?
Your site is great ! I love it ! Bye !Clément Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

"RE: A question to "TGV" " the Canadian link is through Bombardier's involvement with design and engineering. they also designed the Acela, which is not a TGV. there has been talk of building a high speed route in Canada between Toronto and Quebec City but I don't think there is a large enough population base. North Americans LOVE their cars and airplanes too much! By the way, the TGV Web site isn't mine. I just recommended it! It is really goodAlso read on there that future European high speed rail development will probably involve collaboration between the Germans and the French.
