Train Simulator/Marias Pass/Whitefish yard sorting

I need yhelp for this game...
I managed to complete the whole sorting except one car and the locs. Those have to be drop off East onf the main line but I cannot mange to cross the main line. The crossover switches do not let themslves to be operated... Is there a bug in the program or did I do something wrong?Please help!

There IS a problem in the default route activity. Someone did a fix for it so you could get your engines and a car to the other side of the yard complex where you need to be to finish.
Fristrating after all that work, wasn't it ?!!Go to the file library, download tmfxwhys.zip. Read the read me to see how to install the fix. You won't be able to start up where you left off and will need to do the whole activity again.
Oh darn!! more fun !!If you haven't already found it there is a "replacement" Marias Pass route (current version is 3.1) which is available in the files. It fixed this problem and several others. Good Luck with your railroading.

At the very bottom of this page you will see a link to "file library"
You can also find it on the previous main page.You will need to register to get a user name and password. If you elect to pay for "first class" (ie help Nels pay for our website) you will get connected whenever you want. If not it is on a "first come-first serve" basis for the other connections.Back at the main page I think you will also find a "Question and Answer?? section that might asnwer a lot of your questions about using this fantastic website to support your train-sim experience

I have been looking for the file "tmfxwhys.zip" to fix the problem listed above with "Marias Pass Witefish yard sorting" but it is not thzere any more.... Can comeone help?Thanks!

Thank you very much Bill!However, I am probably not smart enough to manage these updeates.... I dowloaded and installed that file above, but afterwards my Marias Pass game did not react the same way, eg. brakes did not go to "apply" and started to get into action one sztep before.
I also dowloaded and installed the "Marias Pas 3.1" and the whole game would not start any more... Could that be because I did load the "Microsoft updates" for the Editor section from the Microsoft game / Train sim / site beforehand?Jean-Claude

Most, if not all, of the original activities for USA2 will not work on Marias31. In the Marias31 folder there is a folder for activities that have been upgraded to work on the new version.Bill
