I have attempted to download the file gemegav2.zip in two different ways. The first was using "Get Right" and the second was by the installed windows download program. After the file has downloaded about 96% downloading stops. If I cancell download using Windows Default program I have lost all my downloaded information. If I use Get Right the program attempts to complete the download at a later time. This procedure will not work on Train Sim. On other sites you can dowload with either and not have problems. I am open to solutions for this bug. I still want to downl load a large file like the one mentioned above.

RE: Train-Sim File Download Problem

When you go back to the file library, check out the download resuming link at the bottom of the page after you log in.

Yup, what Baldwin said. Trainsim DOES support download resume. I've used it many times myself (using DAP). Check out the info on how to use it.

Thank you for your help. Why I have not notice the procedure is beyond me. I guess we are all not perfect.

You won't find anyone here that's anywhere close. This is kinda like misfit central.
Just glad you found the procedures you were looking for. Have fun downloading all the big stuff now!

RE: Train-Sim File Download Problem

I have Get Right, and have never had any problems downloading from the file library. If you choose otions when Get right starts to download, select the segmented otion and choose as many links as possible. It may four or as many as eight. Your file will download faster and continue until it is finished.

Mavarick,
Thank you for the advice. I am using Download Accelerator Plus and I really like it. I have had no problems with it and it uses multiple links also. It is set up for four at a time. Maybe that was the answer which I did not set up on the other software.
